On 3 September, to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the Party Branch of China HK Power Smart Energy Group Limited organised a special group viewing of the military parade. This solemn and inspiring national celebration deeply moved employees across the company, igniting strong patriotic sentiment among Party members and colleagues alike.
In the morning, all Party members gathered in the Party Activity Room to watch the live broadcast of the parade as part of a themed Party Day study session. At the same time, to meet the needs of other employees, an additional viewing point was set up in the Group’s “Gangneng Hall.” Many colleagues, while ensuring work was not affected, joined together to witness this historic moment.
The impeccably disciplined formations and cutting-edge military equipment on display filled Party members and employees with pride and admiration. Following the event, Party members enthusiastically shared their reflections, expressing their excitement and deep emotion. They agreed that the parade not only showcased the nation’s formidable defence capabilities but also served as a vivid and powerful lesson in patriotism, reinforcing the importance of remembering history and cherishing the peace and prosperity enjoyed today.
Employees who are about to be admitted to the Party, as well as active applicants for Party membership, also took part throughout the event. They reaffirmed their determination to hold themselves to the highest standards, to align their actions with Party principles, and to strive to become full-fledged Party members at the earliest opportunity.
In his closing remarks, Zhu Ruilong, Secretary of the Group’s Party Branch, emphasised that the parade was a profound demonstration of the nation’s strength and vitality, symbolising the unity and progress of the Chinese people. He encouraged all Party members to channel the inspiration and motivation gained from this experience into their daily work, continually improving their professional skills and contributing to the company’s growth and the country’s prosperity. Zhu also reminded everyone that the victory of the War of Resistance was won through the sacrifices of countless heroes, urging all employees to remember this history and carry forward the indomitable spirit of resistance.
